When I moved to my house last year, I was not happy with the small porch leading out to the backyard. I wanted to have a nice patio there, but I had no way of making that happen with my own two hands. I had some money left over from the loan I had taken out, so I immediately began to look for a builder in Bristol that would help me transform the tiny porch to the one I had envisioned even before buying this house. I love to sit on the porch, so I knew exactly what I wanted.
The builder I hired to help me has extensive experience in building patios. I was able to look at his portfolio, and I saw a few pictures that were similar to what I wanted. I was able to show him partially from those pictures, then I explained the rest that I wanted. I wanted the patio to go along the entire width of the house. There were two tall steps leading up to the kitchen, and I knew that was a hazard for my children. He told me it would be no problem making the steps more shallow.
Once he did that, he was able to build the wall around the majority of the patio. He also installed a gate for me because my kids are young. I wanted them to be able to play on the patio without me having to keep a constant eye on them that they might go out in the yard where the pool is. He was also able to bring someone in who was able to stone in the wall against the house. By the time he was done building the patio of my dreams, I knew that I was going to spend the majority of my time out there. It really is that perfect.
